JOAN OF ART

This warrior ensemble is created from small watercolors orginally created by my mother, Joan, for jewelry.

​

Each piece is attached to black matte board then attached with jump rings to create a fluid armor.  

​

Paper plates and buttons form the epilets .  The image on the banner is from Joan's high school days in an all girl catholic shcool.

​

My mom was my art tutor and also my muse.
